Music at the Grove ‘There has always been a strong musical tradition at the Grove Methodist Church. Our Rushworth and Dreaper (1934) organ has 3 manuals and 1700 pipes, and is one of the best in the district. Our choir has consistently maintained a membership of more than 20 throughout the last thirty years. Apart from leading Sunday worship, and singing at weddings and funerals, it performs in concerts and other events in the Leeds area and beyond. An orchestra of young people and adults leads the music of our monthly Parade Service. We are always keen to welcome new singers and musicians, and there are opportunities for both budding and competent organists and choir directors to join our music leadership team.’For further information, contact TBA. |
